The software has been designed as general product for surveillance cross platforms working concurrently with wireless and wired IP webcams, TV-cards, capture cards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the equal form and controls on the local and apart pcs. Customers watch MPEG-4 coded video and have complete control of the program via network that surveillance server can be run with no screen, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular configuration extensively boosts reliability because all units work as autonomous programs. If one unit fails, other modules go on running. For example if the `capture` part freezes, `watchdog` starts over it instantly that users don`t notice anything because they are watching video through a `playback` unit. The software does `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never appears. The recording can be constant or it can be triggered by motion, human face recognition, or by calendar. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance computer as well as on distant server via Web interface. The software performs simultaneous video playback for event analysis from many webcams at the same time. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
